International Game Technology PLC (NYSE: IGT) has expanded its sports betting footprint in Nevada through a partnership with GN NV Holdings, LLC, the operator of Golden Nugget Casinos. Under the agreement, IGT PlaySports will power retail and mobile sports betting at three Golden Nugget properties: Golden Nugget Casino Lake Tahoe, Golden Nugget Casino Las Vegas, and Golden Nugget Casino Laughlin.
The phased rollout began with Golden Nugget Casino Lake Tahoe, which launched its IGT PlaySports-powered retail sportsbook in January 2025. The remaining two locations, in Las Vegas and Laughlin, are expected to follow later in the year, initially with retail sports betting, with mobile betting options to be introduced thereafter.
The integration includes the deployment of IGT PlaySports’ platform, as well as its QuickBet self-service betting kiosks, enhancing the customer betting experience. Additionally, the Golden Nugget sportsbooks will leverage IGT’s Trading Advisory Services to optimize risk management and odds setting.
The expansion further strengthens IGT PlaySports’ presence in the U.S. sports betting market, reinforcing its role as a key technology provider for operators in regulated jurisdictions.
