Novibet, a prominent igaming operator, has recently announced its significant sponsorship of a renowned horse racing event. The company has become the Official Betting Partner for the highly anticipated 2023 Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival, scheduled to take place at The Curragh Racecourse in Ireland from Friday, May 26th to Sunday, May 28th.

Throughout the three-day festival, Novibet will serve as the named sponsor for six races, solidifying its position as a key player in the international racing calendar. Notably, the Novibet Emerald Mile, the main feature on the opening day, and the Novibet Guineas Festival Premier Handicap on Saturday, May 27th, are among the races that will bear the company’s name.

Novibet has already established a presence in the horse racing industry through its existing partnership with Brian Hughes, the three-time British Champion Jump Jockey. As part of this partnership, Novibet has also opened betting options for the Tattersalls Irish 1000 and 2000 Guineas races. Al Riffa, trained by Joseph O’Brien, is the current frontrunner for the colts Classic at 5/4 odds, while Tahiyra holds the position of 1/2 favorite for the fillies’ equivalent.

This collaboration between Novibet and the Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival highlights the operator’s commitment to the world of sports betting and further establishes its presence in the horse racing industry.

Karl Riley, Novibet’s Ireland Country Manager said, “We are delighted to be named as the Official Betting Partner of this year’s Irish Guineas Festival in what is the biggest horse racing sponsorship we’ve been involved with so far.

“The Irish Guineas is a meeting which is one of the biggest in Irish Flat racing and we are very excited to be increasing our presence in this area.”

Evan Arkwright, Racing and Sponsorship Manager at The Curragh added, “We are very excited that Novibet has selected The Curragh to launch their biggest horse racing partnership to date, and we will work closely with their team to ensure they maximise all opportunities to raise their profile across the extensive global audience that the Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival attracts throughout all three days.”
