The Jockey Club of Turkiye (Türkiye Jokey Kulübü, “TJK”) has entered a strategic, long-term agreement with Tabcorp, Australia’s leading wagering and entertainment company, and 1/ST CONTENT, a major division of 1/ST, a prominent racing organisation in the Americas. This partnership will introduce live Turkish racing to Australian audiences through Tabcorp’s Sky Racing channels.
This arrangement enables Tabcorp to broadcast domestic Turkish racing via Sky Racing for both tote (pari-mutuel) and fixed-odds betting. The collaboration provides a pathway for Australian racing enthusiasts to access premier Turkish racing content, enhancing their viewing and wagering options.
Tabcorp’s TAB, which holds exclusive retail rights across most of Australia, will be the first to offer both broadcast and betting on Turkish races. The initiative underscores Tabcorp’s commitment to diversifying and enriching its racing offerings.
1/ST CONTENT, TJK, and B2E Racing Content, an Irish company specialising in racing content, have worked collaboratively to make this venture a reality. As TJK’s exclusive international partner for media and wagering distribution, as well as new pari-mutuel and fixed-odds wagering solutions, 1/ST CONTENT’s trading expertise and 1/ST TECHNOLOGY’s platform will play key roles in supporting the betting framework needed for this partnership.
Sky Racing, a wholly owned Tabcorp subsidiary, broadcasts over 72,000 international races annually. This new agreement adds Turkish racing, including marquee events like the Gazi Derby, to its extensive schedule. These races will join an array of renowned global events available to Australian audiences, such as the Breeders’ Cup World Championships, the US Triple Crown, the Epsom Derby, and Royal Ascot.
