Trading Platform Kicks-Off Chris Kamara Partnership as well as talkSPORT Advertising Campaign

Footstock, the unique player trading and fantasy football platform, has launched an exciting new £100k freeroll contest ahead of the start of the new Premier League season.

The new format runs throughout the 2020/21 campaign and sees players take each other on as they battle to win a share of the £100k pot, with a number cash prizes on offer.

The announcement comes as Footstock unveils a range of marketing and PR activations ahead of the new season as they aim to boost their UK footprint and customer base.

Among these activations is a newly designed app which offers a plethora of new features, a transformed UI and a sleeker design, all of which are aimed at enhancing the user experience like never before.

And the Footstock name will become familiar to talkSPORT listeners this season with daily ads voiced by ex-player and broadcaster Chris Kamara, the platform’s new brand ambassador.

The substantial campaign will see 200 adverts rolled out to talkSPORT’s listeners over a six-week period, with further advertising planned throughout the 2020/21 season.

‘Kammy’ also features in his first piece of branded content for the operator, with a humorous new video that revisits some of his most hilarious moments in the commentary chair.

James Copeland, Footstock CMO, said: “Football fans throughout the country are counting down the days till the new season gets underway and as that day draws closer, we’re incredibly excited to be launching a number of new product and marketing initiatives.

“Our new £100k free-to-enter fantasy contest is a great addition to the platform and we’re hoping it goes down really well with our players, particularly as at least 100 different managers will win a prize from the overall pot!

“They will also love the totally new app, which produces an enhanced user experience by offering some fantastic new features as well as an intuitive new design.

“Given talkSPORT’s sizeable audience – and our brand new videos with Kammy – we’re expecting to make a big impact as the new season starts.”
