Midnite appoints ex-Sky Bet exec Zach Amin as VP Sportsbook

UK-based igaming operator Midnite has appointed former Sky Bet executive Zach Amin as Vice-President of Sportsbook, marking a key leadership addition as the company continues its growth strategy.

Amin joins Midnite following more than ten years at Sky Betting & Gaming, where he progressed from a football trader to become Head of Trading. His responsibilities at Sky Bet spanned pre-match football trading, risk management, and broader commercial and product strategy. He was named Head of Trading following the operator’s acquisition by Flutter in 2020.

His move to Midnite follows a period of notable momentum for the brand. Earlier this year, Midnite announced a sponsorship agreement with the 2025 World Snooker Championship and debuted its first television advertising campaign.

Midnite launched its sportsbook in 2018, founded by Nick Wright and Daniel Qu, the creators of the fantasy sports platform Dribble. The brand positions itself as a challenger in the UK igaming space, with a focus on user experience and a digital-first approach aimed at engaging a new generation of bettors through a modern platform and tailored UX.

Amin’s appointment is expected to support the continued evolution of Midnite’s sportsbook product and strengthen its positioning in a competitive UK market.

Zach Amin said: “I’m delighted to join Midnite at what is such a pivotal movement in our growth journey. Midnite is perfectly positioned to challenge the tier-1 operators in the UK and I’m looking forward to playing a key role as we take betting into a new era.”

Founder Nick Wright added: “We’re thrilled to welcome someone of Zach’s calibre to the Midnite team and he will play an integral role in our goal of becoming the most exciting betting app on earth.”
