LeoVegas Group Partners with Newcastle United FC, Aiming to Fill 50 Positions in North East

LeoVegas Group, an esteemed igaming operator and a part of the larger entertainment entity, MGM Resorts International, has collaborated with Newcastle United FC. This partnership aims to produce an employer branding video to emphasize the company’s ongoing recruitment efforts, highlighting roles played by prominent Newcastle players such as Dan Burn, Sean Longstaff, and Paul Dummett.

Utilizing its pre-existing relationship with Newcastle United FC, LeoVegas Group is capitalizing on the club’s broad appeal to connect with potential employees in the North East. This move underscores the wide range of opportunities available within the organization.

The campaign is poised to introduce 50 new positions to the North East, spotlighting the various advantages of being a part of LeoVegas Group. Some of the highlighted benefits include a flexible ‘work from anywhere’ policy lasting four weeks, comprehensive health insurance, a hybrid work model, employee discounts, continuous training and development, and robust wellness support. This recruitment drive is part of LeoVegas Group’s strategic growth, following the recent introduction of its new brand, BetMGM, to the UK igaming sector.

The promotional video, shot at Newcastle United FC’s Darsley Park training facility, showcases team members articulating the merits of joining LeoVegas Group, interspersed with captivating glimpses of iconic North East landmarks, like the Angel of the North.

Currently, LeoVegas Group boasts a workforce of over 120 individuals in Newcastle, and an impressive tally of 1,400 employees spread across Europe. These diverse professionals contribute their unique backgrounds, skills, and experiences, enriching the organization. The 50 new openings in the North East represent the most significant UK hiring push for LeoVegas Group since it established its presence in Newcastle in 2018.

Sam Behar, Director of UK & Ireland at LeoVegas Group, said: “We’re proud to be based in the incredible city of Newcastle, the home of Newcastle United FC, and are excited to discover more winning talent as we look to expand our team in the region. The Magpies share our same passion for Newcastle and we’re grateful for their support to help us attract the best talent! If you’re looking for your next opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.”
